Whitetails. Here are a few pictures of Monsters
were we able to capture on camera starting in Aug.2004! My
white-tailed deer herd are of the most illusive and

sound or smell. These Whitetail deer are considered a
wild herd by Louisiana department of
wildlife and fisheries and the Agriculture department
whom issues my license.

ratio 2004-2005 season is the first year I am going
to hunt inside 11 Year old 800 acre high fence area
known as Illinois Plantation located off Hwy 14 on
Illinois Plantation Road south of Hayes Louisiana,
the same road as Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge
Pool! Twelve years ago my bucks or the parents to
my bucks and does were carefully selected for antler
and body size. For the first time I am going to allow
several Monster Bucks unseen from any human eyes to
be harvested during our Louisiana 2004-2005 hunting
season you may have the opportunity to hunt and

Special Antlerless Deer
Season
•The bag limit for the Special Antlerless season is one antlerless deer
(doe). Deer harvested during the special antlerless season are
considered bonus deer and do not count against the annual statewide bag limit.
All annual license holders need to have a special antlerless deer gun license.
Unfilled Deer Gun Licenses and Deer Primitive Licenses are invalid for the
Special Antlerless Deer Season. Lifetime license holders, Senior citizen's
license holders and 100% Resident Disabled Veterans are exempt from the purchase
of this license. Blaze orange requirements remain the same. During this special
season you can legally take a doe with a rifle, primitive firearm, shotgun,
handguns, or with bow and arrow.
Since hunting licenses and Deer Archery permits expire on December 31, all
archery hunters who plan on hunting anytime during the period from Jan. 1-15,
2004 should be aware that they must possess a new 2004 hunting license (unless
exempt), and a 2004 Deer Archery License (unless exempt). Furthermore, archers
should be aware that any antlerless deer taken between Jan. 1-15, 2004 will be
counted against their 2003 "season" combined limit of six deer.
To clarify:
•The bag limit for the Primitive Firearms season is one antlered deer
(buck) and one antlerless deer (doe). An unfilled buck
license can be used to harvest a doe on the last day of the season in areas open
to antlerless harvest, but only if the hunter has not already taken a doe.
Hunters may not take two antlerless deer during the Primitive Firearms
season.
•The bag limit for the Regular Firearms (Gun) season is one antlered
deer (buck) and one antlerless deer (doe). An unfilled
buck license can be used to harvest a doe on the last day of the season in areas
open to antlerless harvest, but only if the hunter has not already taken a doe.
Hunters may not take two antlerless deer during the Deer Gun season.
- 2003 Resident Archery Deer License are only valid until Dec. 31,
2003
If a resident archer (except holders of a Lifetime Hunting or Lifetime
Combination license) wants to hunt anytime from Jan. 1, 2004 through the end of
the season on Jan. 15, 2004, then he/she must purchase both a 2004, Annual
Resident Hunting License, as well as a new 2004 Resident Deer Archery license.
If he/she does not fill their 2004 Archery License between Jan. 1-15, it is
still valid for the portion of the following fall's archery season that occurs
in the 2004 calendar year. Also, if a resident hunter harvests any antlerless
deer during the period of the season from Jan. 1-15, 2004, then these are
counted against the 2003 "season" combined limit of six deer (not against
the 2004 combined limit).
- 2003 Nonresident Archery Deer License are only valid until Dec.
31, 2003.
If a nonresident archer wants to hunt anytime from Jan. 1, 2004, through the
end of the season on Jan. 15, 2004, then he/she must purchase a new 2004
Nonresident Deer Archery license. If he/she does not fill their 2004 Nonresident
Archery License between Jan. 1-15, it is still valid for the portion of the
following fall's archery season that occurs in the 2004 calendar year. Also, if
a nonresident hunter harvests any antlerless deer during the period of the
season from Jan. 1-15, 2004, then these are counted against the 2003 "season"
combined limit of six deer (not against the 2004 combined limit).
