For special applications, a double laced, full-length cover that can be raised and lowered is offered. Velcro end panels can be inserted to provide vacuum dehumidification, negative air, or heat and A/C convenience.                                                                                                                               
The covers are white in color. If ventilation is needed, Velcro roll down screen windows can be installed. Slide entrances may also be inserted. All  shelters can be manufactured to custom meet your needs at an affordable price.

                                                   FR & UV PERFORMANCE                                                                      The product meets the requirements of CPAI-84 (1995), Sect. 5 and 6, ASTM E84 (Class 1), NFPA 701 (large scale, CAN/ULC S109 (small and large scale). The product is approved by the Boston Fire Marshall (Cert. # 39274), ULC (CR2702, CR2731) and ULI (R15076) Registration has been completed. The product meets British Standards BS7837, BD5867; Part 2, and BD6341. On going test indicate approximately 80% strength retention after exposure equivalent to 2 years in Arizona.
 

                                                              FRAMEWORK                                                                             The framework of our shelters is make of 55,000 p.s.i. heavy-walled galvanized tubing (organic interior coating, cold-rolled, height yield steel. Hot dipped uniform zinc coating. Chromate conversion. Daiwakeote acrylic clear coating).

The applications of the shelters range from small lunchrooms and fabrication shops to large covered industrial storage and work areas. Manufactured with 1 5/8" O.D., heavy walled galvanized tubing, and 16 oz. Vinyl that has a 12-15 year lift expectancy. Southern Comfort Shelters are durable enough to meet any need. The frame is of bolted construction to prevent any pieces from coming loose, even in up to 90 mph winds. Shelters can be manufactured to withstand 110 mph winds. The vinyl is flame-retardant, U.V., and mildew treated. We offer a FIVE YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY on all shelters.

Erection

Arriving in kit form, in most cases Southern Comfort Shelters can be easily erected by anyone in hours! All holes are predrilled, and all hardware and instructions are included. To provide experienced quality, an installation crew can be sent to render a "turn-key", set up and take down operation. The shelters can be anchored to any surface by one of many methods. Heavy duty auger-type anchors are included with each shelter, allowing the framework to remain above the ground and portable.
